Transportation Information for International Guests

Taoyuan International Airport to Conference Venue by THSR

Ubus provides shuttle service between Taoyuan International Airport and Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) Taoyuan Station. Bus tickets can be purchased at the UBus counter in the Arrival Greeting Hall of the airport or Platform 1 of the bus transfer station. It takes about 40 minutes from THSR Taoyuan Station to THSR Taichung Station.

Part4: From THSR Taichung Station to The Splendor Hotel Taichung
By taxi: around 30 mins (TWD 300 estimated) 
By shuttle bus:

  1. Come out from Exit #5 or #6 at the lobby level of THSR Taichung Station and take the escalator to the bus terminal on the 1st floor.
  2. Come out from Exit #6 to take the THSR Shuttle Bus at bus platform #13 and get off at the Splendor Hotel Taichung Station, which is very close to SOGO Department Store. (Bus route direction: THSR Taichung -- China Medical University, Taiwan—Taichung Park)
  3. Bus service operates from 7:35AM to 00:10PM and departs every 15 minutes. It will take about 30 minutes to Taichung city. It takes around 15 minutes to reach the hotel by taxi. The Taxi fare will be approximately NT$300.

Transportation Information for Domestic Guests

From National Highway No.1 Taichung Interchange to The Splendor Hotel Taichung

Exit off Taichung Interchange and drive towards downtown along Chung Kang Road, making a left at Jianxing Road. Approximately a 10-minutes driving distance.

From Taichung Train Station to The Splendor Hotel Taichung

You may take Taichung Bus Lines 88/103/106 and Ubus Route 83, and get off at National Museum of Natural Science Station.
