WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is our great pleasure to announce that Pan Pacific Symposium on Stem Cells and Cancer Research (PPSSC) will be held during April 15 to 17, 2017 at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital, Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Foundation in Hualien, Taiwan. The PPSSC, recognized as an essential event in related fields, is held every year in different cities in Taiwan since 2008. It is going to celebrate the 10th birthday in 2017.

Following the success of the meeting over past few years, we will continuously provide a platform for doctors, physicians, researchers and clinical investigators from all over the world to convene and share novel ideas on topics in stem cell research and new drug development. The program for the PPSSC 2017 has copious main themes as follows:

  1. Pluripotent Stem Cells and Mesenchymal Stem Cell: Frontier Research
  2. Engineer T Cell Therapy: CAR-T Strategies in Cancer
  3. Gene Editing for iPS Cell of Disease
  4. Cancer and New Drug Development
  5. Bioengineering and Biomaterial Application in Neuroscience

On behalf of the organizing committee, I sincerely welcome you to join this symposium and the 10th anniversary celebration with us. On top of that, the incredible beauty of Hualien is waiting for you to explore, especially the Taroko National Park's diversity and natural wealth. I believe you will have a wonderful experience in both scientific program and the beauty of the east coast of Taiwan. See you in Hualien in 2017!

Sincerely yours,
